Do dermal injections hurt?
Fillers are injected into the skin in tiny amounts using an ultrafine needle. To optimize comfort during the short procedure, the area can be frozen prior to injecting. The dermal fillers often include Lidocaine, an anaesthetic agent, in the syringe.

Are dermal fillers safe? Are there any side effects?

Dermal fillers are not recommended for women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or individuals under the age of eighteen.

Yes. However, this is very rarely required as dermal fillers dissolve naturally over time.
